GSL Education are working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Harlow who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with an autistic child in EYFS.
This is a long-term, full-time position and a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference during a child’s crucial early years, within a school that is supportive, inclusive, and well-regarded locally.

The Role:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with Autism in an EYFS setting
* Support learning through play-based and structured activities
* Help with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow individual support plans
* Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in the classroom
* Support transitions, routines, and sensory needs throughout the school day
* Maintain a calm, nurturing, and safe learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting children with Autism and/or SEN, ideally within EYFS or primary settings
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* Strong understanding of early childhood development
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or SEN) are desirable but not essential
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
