Hybrid - Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London Salary: £27k - £30k Purpose We’re looking for a Talent Engagement Assistant to join our people team. This is a development role for someone who’s keen to grow their career in talent and workforce coordination. You’ll support our Talent Engagement activities and our contingent workforce administration, helping ensure positive, people centred experiences for candidates, contingent workers and internal stakeholders. You don’t need prior experience in a technology consultancy, but an interest in people-focused work and good communication skills are essential. You’ll work closely with the Contingent Workforce Manager, supporting interview scheduling, contingent workforce administration and day-to-day coordination. As you grow in the role, you’ll have opportunities to get involved in wider people team initiatives, process improvement and projects. This role is ideal if you’re organised, curious, and keen to learn. Key Activities Work within the Talent Engagement team to support the end-to-end candidate journey Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews, working with our interview communities to manage availability Communicate with candidates to ensure a consistent, speedy and positive experience Support the Contingent Workforce Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks Assist with onboarding and off-boarding contingent workers, following agreed processes Maintain accurate records for candidates, contingent workers and suppliers Work with external partners to progress candidates and contractors through relevant processes Support the coordination of timesheets, approvals and basic queries Support process improvement and business change initiatives across the people team Deliverables Coordinate interview scheduling, meet agreed turnaround times, keep a shared interviewer rota up to date Run and efficient contingent pre-boarding and off-boarding processes Maintain complete, clean contingent worker records on our applicant tracking system Make timesheets simple by running a steady weekly cycle for submissions and approvals, set clear cutoffs, answer basic queries quickly Build and maintain the intranet and playbooks for our contingent workforce Where you’ll work Your working time at Opencast will be split between multiple locations, including from our HQ and hub locations, client site or home.
