On behalf of our long standing client, we are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Production Team Leader / Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the packing operations within the production & packing area within our clients facility, near Kilmarnock. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong production experience, organisational and people-management skills. Previous experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment is essential. The role is a Monday to Thursday position, working 7am - 5:30pm. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of packing line staff to meet production targets. Assembly of the packaging components to be combined to create the finished products that we manufacture, ensuring a high quality of product is achieved. Monitor line performance and adjust resources as needed to optimise efficiency. Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality control standards. Train, develop, and mentor team members to build capability and engagement. Report on production output, downtime, and performance metrics. Processing of all production paperwork. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production area. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills, with effective communication skills to motivate team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns and business needs. Good knowledge and ability to use computers including Microsoft and ERP programmes. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes. UK drivers license & own transport necessary.
