Project Delivery Manager
Working for a Rail operator as a Project Delivery Manager, this role sits within the PMO team and is focused on supporting the successful delivery of multiple transportation projects. The position involves extensive stakeholder engagement with key industry bodies such as Network Rail, HS2, Train Operating Companies (TOCs), and other transportation governing authorities.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + packages
Location: London
(Hybrid working arrangement- 3 days working from the office/ 2 days WFH)
Overview:
The directorate of a Train Operator has exclusively retained the Resolute Group to secure a Project Delivery Manager. Our client collaborates closely with the DfT, GBR and associated governing bodies.
This individual will play a pivotal role in the efficient day-to-day management of an assigned project portfolio, working alongside a technically focused project manager. Ensuring the project is adhering to industry standards to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality outputs that meet the specified contractual scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure project milestones, standards, and compliance requirements are met.
Can look at an overview of a project to ensure the stakeholders are achieving their deliverables.
Hold the appropriate stakeholders accountable when targets are not achieved.
Engage effectively with key stakeholders, including DfT, Network Rail, HS2, and local authorities.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and schedules.
Maintain contractual and regulatory compliance throughout the programme.
Act as the central point of coordination, ensuring a structured and cohesive project approach.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree ideally to support your experience at operating at this level.(This is not an Engineering or IT-focused position so you do not need a Degree in those fields)
Previous experience in the Transport industry is required, with a preference for rail experience. While deep technical expertise is not necessary, a solid understanding of key project aspects and management principles is essential.
