Mexi Bean and Charlie's are two complementary and fast-growing hospitality concepts operating side by side. Mexi Bean is a contemporary Mexican quick-service restaurant (QSR) known for delivering bold, fresh, and flavourful food in a dynamic environment. Charlie's offers a premium dessert experience, specialising in indulgent treats and exceptional customer service.
Together, these brands deliver quality, energy, and consistency — and we are now seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations across both venues.
About the Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the effective leadership and management of day-to-day operations at both Mexi Bean and Charlie's. This role requires a highly motivated and hands-on professional who can ensure operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all operational aspects of both Mexi Bean and Charlie's.
* Lead, train, and develop a strong team culture focused on service excellence and accountability.
* Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability targets.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
* Manage rostering, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
* Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
* Contribute to marketing initiatives and local business development strategies.
* Provide regular operational reports and insights to senior management.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a senior hospitality management role (QSR, casual dining, or café environment preferred).
* Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of operational metrics.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Food safety certification or relevant qualifications highly regarded.
