Medical Education/Marketing Manager - Exciting new role working for an established healthcare company
Role: Medical Education/Marketing Manager
Therapy Area: Fluorescence Imaging

Location: Hybrid - combination of home working, UK travel visiting customers and visits to the Worcester office. International travel required occasionally.
Exciting new opportunity as a Medical Education/Marketing Manager. In this role you will be responsible for shaping and sharing a strategic vision for the distributed Fluorescence Imaging product range to contribute to achieving the company’s sales, profit, and market share objectives.
As the product ambassador both internally and externally, you will engage and inspire others across the business through the development of marketing initiatives and a medical education programme. With a proven ability to communicate and capture people’s attention, on both an individual and group level, this role involves working closely in field with our sales teams, clinicians and KOLs to fully understand how the products are used, understand the competitive landscape and drive incremental growth and market share.
A key element of the role (70%) is customer facing which will involve working with the sales team identifying and developing Key Opinions Leaders across a diverse range of therapeutic sectors (oncology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology) who are critical to the success of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify a list of key opinion leaders that will be critical to the future success of the brand, including healthcare professionals responsible for shaping NHS Policy.
* Develop and implement a stakeholder management plan to proactively build and enhance sustainable relationships with targeted advocates and decision makers on a national basis having gained a thorough insight and understanding of their needs and motivation.
* Develop and implement strategies related to the current product portfolio, future plans and policy agenda helping shape future strategic plans.
* Liaise with sales teams to develop plans and activities around Medical Education
* In partnership with sales teams develop and organise a medical education programme to reflect National and regional needs.
* Attend National meetings and develop programme for medical stand content and logistics.
* Develop marketing support and campaign materials for presentations, posters, clinical articles for face to face interactions and medical meeting programme.
* Manage clinical data resources, assisting development of sales tools and materials to optimise the use of clinical studies in line with marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent.
The Person/Experience:
* Experience of working in a pharmaceutical role ideally involving professional relations and KOL development.
* Proven track record of sales and business management success.
* A proven track record in influencing the prescribing decision-making process with senior NHS customers secondary care.
* Experience of working in a pharmaceutical marketing role.
