Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.
What you’ll do
As a Specialist NOC Engineer, you'll help manage and enhance network infrastructure for both consumer and business products. Working cross-functionally with engineering teams and various stakeholders, you will pro-actively investigate, analyse, and diagnose network issues through thorough examination of the data collation and tool sets provided for network analysis, offering recommendations and undertaking any corrective action.
1. You will undertake or support rapid restoration of network fault resolution within SLA (and prior to critical Service failure where possible)
2. You will Investigate network problems identified using pro-active (management) tools - where possible before critical Services are impacted.
3. You will ensure that incidents are escalated according to the Operational Procedures Document as required.
4. You will develop / follow documented and agreed business processes / procedures and keep abreast of Network Environmental changes (Change Control Process).
5. You will meet / exceed business, department and individual objectives and targets in line with the business, service, and operational requirements.
Who you are
6. You will have strong customer relationship management capabilities with good communication skills.
7. You will demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheet development and data reporting.
8. You will be experienced in delivering work within tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
9. You will have hands-on experience managing customer-switched networks.
10. You will have CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and ITIL V3 Qualification is desirable.
