Employment Details
* Post 1: Mon – Friday 08:30 – 12:30
* Post 2: Tues 08:00 – 17:00; Wed 08:00 – 16:45; Thurs 08:00 – 16:15
* Location: Royal Hospital for Children (base), can be moved to any GGC location
* Type: Permanent; part‑time hours for part‑time hire, salary pro‑rata
* Cover multiple wards as required; expected to undertake reception, phone answering, appointment booking, and demographics entry on the patient management system
Key Responsibilities
Provide an efficient Health Records service to patients in a ward environment, ensuring accurate and confidential handling of health records.
Support clinical care by managing reception tasks, answering telephone calls, booking appointments, and maintaining patient demographic information in the patient management system.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous clerical or reception experience with a customer service background
* Experience working with the general public
* Strong organisational, keyboard, and communication skills
* Proficiency in using computer systems
