Overview
* Assess the feasibility and profitability of potential transactions
* Evaluate deal documentation and draft credit papers
* Present credit papers to Credit Committee on a weekly basis
* Manage the panel of approved lawyers, valuers and QSs, and instruct where appropriate
* Review legal documents and negotiate amendments.
* Identify and prioritize risks and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Ensure all requisite documents are prepared for review and loans are ready for timely draw-down.
* Continuously monitor loan performance and contribute to the monthly draw-down process.
* Internal reporting
Skills and experience
* Strong risk and credit analysis skills, ideally gained in Real Estate focused team
* Proficiency in Excel
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to identify and address potential issues on facilities
The salary range for this position is £60,000 to £80,000 including bonus, depending on experience.
