We have an exciting fixed-term/secondment opportunity to recruit a highly motivated Health Care Assistant to join our Virtual Ward delivery at Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting position working with two well-established teams of specialist nurses: the Heart Failure Team and the Community Respiratory Team, supporting the delivery of the Virtual Ward.
The post will involve working across acute, community, and virtual ward settings. The service operates 7 days a week and requires flexibility within an evolving, proactive, dynamic, and committed multidisciplinary Heart Failure and Respiratory Team.
The main aim of the role is to support patients identified across the two hospital sites for the Virtual Ward. This includes distributing monitoring equipment, providing education on its use, and managing weekly stock control and ordering of equipment.
