About the Role
You will join the Finance team as one of three Master Data Analysts, supporting Yorkshire Water’s operational finance data management by maintaining and enhancing SAP Ariba master data. You’ll work on contract workspaces, supplier qualification, data cleansing, risk identification, and user training.
Responsibilities
* Create, maintain and enhance Ariba master data to high data quality standards, including contract workspaces, supplier qualification and NDAs.
* Analyse and improve Ariba master data, supporting business processes and enhancing user experience.
* Conduct regular data cleansing and archiving to remove old or duplicate data and close expired contracts.
* Identify and mitigate risks within Ariba master data.
* Recommend and implement data quality improvement initiatives.
* Act as a liaison between suppliers and end‑users to resolve data issues.
* Provide training and support on master data management within Ariba.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Comprehensive understanding of SAP S4 HANA and SAP Ariba.
* Strong working relationships across teams to drive data management best practice.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and process compliance.
* Analytical skills to deliver insights that enhance data quality and business processes.
* Experience in maintaining accurate Ariba data and updating supplier information.
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for master data processes.
* Collaboration with process SMEs to define required data types.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office 365).
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Commercial focus with a demonstrable track record.
