Head of Marketing

Fixed Term Contract (3-6 months)

D2C Retail business – national brand name

West Midlands: Hybrid 2/3 (WFH)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this progressive retail business in a leadership role, leading the strategic direction of the brand’s multi‑channel campaigns with a talented delivery team. You’ll play a crucial part in the business achieving its growth plans.

With growth firmly on the agenda, the company continues to build out a fantastic brand. Nurturing the existing loyal customer base while focusing on new customer acquisition, the role is responsible for setting the customer communications strategy by managing multi‑channel brand campaigns and messaging.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead development of the brand’s campaign strategy, ensuring consistency across channels including content, PR and social media plans.
* Project‑manage the campaign plan, briefing and coordinating plans and guidance for the team.
* Foster strong working relationships across departments to facilitate collaboration and achieve shared goals.
* Review and approve creative work to ensure alignment with brand objectives and standards.
* Oversee the brand’s PR strategy to ensure continued growth, maximizing exposure for strategic and tactical priorities.
* Track and report on campaign success, driving continuous improvement.
* Manage two managers (Campaign and PR) each with a delivery team under them.


Key Skills & Attributes

* Experience in a leadership role, comfortable managing teams and reporting at board level.
* Highly organised with great project‑management skills.
* Comfortable with pace, managing multiple campaign plans and adapting to change.
* Excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and content skills.
* Preferred experience managing creative or strong eye for design, with understanding of best practices across formats.
* Strong strategic thinking with analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams.
