A top energy company is looking for a senior .NET developer to join their team, supporting and enhancing their existing application estate. This role is heavily backend‑focused, working across complex data models, systems integration, API development, and data migration. You’d take ownership of business‑critical applications and will need to ramp up quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Focus Areas
1. Ownership of core backend applications
2. Systems integration, RESTful API development, and data migrations
3. Enhancing existing .NET Core services and backend components
4. Contributing to architecture and microservices best practice
5. Supporting Azure‑native deployments and CI/CD improvements
Essential Experience
6. 10+ years with C# / .NET Core
7. Strong Azure Experience (Functions, Web Apps, DevOps, CI/CD)
8. SQL Server — data modelling, schema changes, production deployments
9. Entity Framework Core — code‑first, migrations
10. REST APIs and microservices design
11. CI/CD (YAML), IaC (Terraform), Git
Nice to Have
12. Message queues (RabbitMQ, Service Bus)
13. React/Angular exposure
14. ETL / data integration
15. Automated testing / TDD
