Salaried GP 6 – 8 sessions - The Castle Practice
We are a friendly, welcoming, supportive, and forward thinking semi-rural practice on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border. You might not know where we are, but we are only a 30 min commute from Winchester, Salisbury, or Marlborough!
Due to a growing list size, we are looking for a 6-8 session GP. We currently look after 16,500 patients with a young patient demographic, due to our location at the edge of Salisbury Plain. Both of our surgeries are located in the heart of the community, and we are an innovative practicewho value continuity of care. Working as Lead Practice for Sarum North PCN we are actively involved in working together to shape Primary Care for the future in our area.
We have a wide multidisciplinary team consisting of 5 GP Partners, 1 Managing Partner, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 GP Retainer, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants. We also have a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, GPAs and Care Coordinators, with the PCN providing a dedicated Social Prescribing Team. All are supported with an experienced administrative framework, including IT and Data Quality, Secretarial and Prescribing Clerk teams.
As a training practice we host ST1-3s, F2s and medical students. We have a regular practice meeting schedule which includes MDTS and quarterly Clinical Governance meetings. As part of our patient access, we run a dedicated telephone triage hub and wing, providing urgent on the day treatment via telephone, online and video consultations, as well as face to face contacts at our two sites which are just 3 miles apart in Ludgershall and Tidworth.
