An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) band 6 to join the team in Forensic Outreach (Forensic CPNs).
You will be expected to provide high-quality, evidence-based care and support to clients experiencing a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care for out-patients in the community, who may have transitioned through the Forensic pathway.
The post holder should emphasize risk assessment and have experience working autonomously, as they will hold a caseload. Candidates should have a genuine interest in Forensic Mental Health services and be willing to work towards service improvement.
Training and development opportunities are promoted within the team to ensure staff are skilled and supported in this challenging clinical specialty.
As this post covers Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, a full UK driver license is required.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
