About Our Client

Our client is a well established accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Woking.

Job Description

* Assist with the preparation of tax returns and computations.
* Develop an understanding of UK tax legislation and its application.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions.
* Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on tax matters.
* Participate in training and development activities to enhance tax knowledge.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
* Support with other administrative tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Trainee should have:

* A university degree or equivalent in a related field.
* 6-12 months tax experience is advantageous.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A keen interest in developing a career in tax within the professional services industry.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to learning and development.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
