We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a skilled and supportive team. If you thrive on helping children overcome barriers and achieve both personal and academic progress, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role
* Support students across Key Stages 1 and 2, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Assist learners with Autism/ASD, ADHD, MLD/SLD, sensory and communication needs, and physical or medical conditions
* Provide both practical and emotional support to encourage engagement and well-being
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience supporting children with complex SEND and/or physical disabilities
* Knowledge of or interest in sensory processing, communication strategies, or medical support
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
* Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification (or equivalent)
* Team-Teach or MAPA training (desirable, but not essential)
* A calm, adaptable, and resilient nature, with a strong sense of empathy
