The Job Youll Do; Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods across the North East, including areas such as Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, and surrounding regions. Load and unload items, ensuring accuracy of delivery documentation. Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet scheduled delivery times. Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety procedures Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage. Handle goods with care to minimise damage during transportation About You; Valid UK driving licence (clean licence preferred, maximum 6 points). Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a driving-related role is desirable. Good knowledge of the North East road network. Strong time-management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily workload. Good communication and customer service skills. Capable of lifting and moving parcels or goods of varying weights.
