Job Title: Site Agent (Temporary) - Schemes Location: Oxfordshire Hours: 40 hours per week (some overtime/nights) Vehicle: Provided for work use Operating Unit: Highways Reporting Line: Works Manager (Schemes) Job Purpose: We are seeking a temporary Site Agent to support infrastructure schemes predominantly within Oxfordshire. The Site Agent will manage all day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. The Site Agent will report to the Scheme Works Manager and will be responsible for planning and supervising both in-house and subcontracted resources. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Manage and supervise site schemes, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget. Efficiently organise labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources. Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate scheme delivery, including designers, network management teams, local authorities, and community groups.
