Working onsite at our Gloucester location, you will collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to design, build, and implement tools that ultimately improve the overall efficiency of the department. What activity will you work on during your VIE? - Develop an efficient go-to 'search engine' tool allowing users to identify materials, processes, or ingredients used on drawings or specifications. This includes connecting to multiple existing data sources, proposing & designing a tool (Power BI, Python scripts etc.), implementing the solution & provide support. - Connect this tool to other data sources, to add value (purchasing database, Health and Safety database, customer services database) - Support data import into Engineering Product Lifecycle Management software - Develop an efficient process to generate REACh Article 33 declarations, using existing databases. This includes specification compilation, project management and solution development.
