Responsibilities
* Manage a team of professionals and oversee daily design projects
* Undertake technical design work and produce reports
* Lead projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, renewable energies, remediation and rail
* Build, maintain and manage client and stakeholder relationships
Required Skills and Experience
* Degree in Civil Engineering
* Chartered status with a recognised professional body, or actively working towards it
* Extensive experience in infrastructure, drainage and highway design
* Competence in adoptable works and adoption procedures for highways authorities and water utilities
* Proficiency with relevant software packages such as MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Civils 3D, AutoCAD, etc.
* Demonstrated experience leading design projects
* Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders in public and private sectors
* Prior experience managing a team of design engineers and technicians
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
* Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience in client and stakeholder management
* Experience in marketing, including winning business and contracts
* Ability to speak Welsh
