As a Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the delivery of the business architecture. You shall challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders across project teams, technical teams, and management levels are essential.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily operates within the Chief Regulator Group, supporting various change and improvement initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, fostering decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife and support sustainable development.

Experience/skills Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to convey findings effectively.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
* Project Delivery: Proven experience delivering projects within structured frameworks.
* Requirements Gathering: Experience in capturing and documenting clear business requirements.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant business analysis qualifications.
* Proficiency in analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
Additional Information
Three roles are available: two permanent and one fixed-term until 30th April 2027. We offer flexible/hybrid working arrangements and provide necessary training. The role is based at an EA Office location, with potential travel required.
