Purpose of the role: Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for bids. You will assist in the evaluation of project risk factors and commercial opportunities arising from new and existing bids and maintaining communication with all stakeholders internally and externally. Additionally, you will compile bids both mechanically and electrically to an agreed strategy, taking account of the various elements that could influence the bids, e.g., logistics, time, constructability, site factors etc. You will be able to take a bid from ITT through to completion, ready for final checks by the Preconstruction Lead / Manager. Work as part of the Preconstruction team by assisting with the production of accurate and timely estimates. Liaising with other estimating professionals within to identify, share and implement best practice to allow the production of cogent proposals for management approval.
