Facilities Engineer
Location: Leatherhead
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Engineer to manage and maintain building services and site infrastructure at our Leatherhead facility. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facilities, supporting day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services
Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, power distribution, water systems, and general facilities equipment
Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and safe manner
Manage and supervise external contractors and service providers
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Support site projects, upgrades, and improvements as required
Respond to facilities-related issues and emergencies during working hoursSkills & Experience
Proven experience in a Facilities Engineer or similar maintenance role
Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
Knowledge of building services and facilities systems
Understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Good communication and problem-solving skillsQualifications (Desirable)
Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)
Electrical certification (e.g. 18th Edition) or mechanical qualifications
IOSH or NEBOSH awareness (advantageous)What We Offer
