In this hands‑on role you will maintain, repair, and improve equipment to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out reactive mechanical maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, escalating complex issues when needed.
* Support improvement projects and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
* Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and update documentation as required.
* Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
* Apprenticeship to NVQ Lv3 or above in Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
* Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, shift‑based team environment and commitment to health & safety.
