Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker based at East Ayrshire Community Hosptial.

What you will do:

As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker within Marchburn Ward at East Ayrshire Community Hospital, Cumnock, you will have experience working with older adults with dementia and associated stress and distress behaviours and be responsible for the care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of nursing programmes of care for patients who require NHS Hospital Based Clinical Complex Care. You will be highly motivated and prepared to innovate and develop practice and work as part of a highly functioning team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You should have an awareness of relevant legislation, policies, standards, best practice statements, guidelines and capability frameworks. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
