Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner (part-time) to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic to ensure our workspace remains tidy, organised, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment.
Hours
* 16:30 - 20:00 Monday to Thursday
* 11:30 - 15:00 Friday
* 33 days paid holiday
Duties
* Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
* Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met
* Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
* Maintain cleanliness of communal areas such as kitchens and reception areas
* Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and stored appropriately
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
Requirements
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating a clean and hygienic environment. Prior experience in janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
