What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maintenance and Repairs Officer, you will ensure our client’s accommodation is safe, secure and well-maintained for their tenants.
Specifically, you will undertake repairs and inspections of occupied and vacant properties to ensure they are fully functional and health and safety compliant.
You will carry out a range of multi-skilled repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, grounds, decorating, and general upkeep.
Conducting regular visits to properties, you will prepare condition reports and identify maintenance needs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and monitoring tenant safety.
* Respond to any issues and tenant requests
* Handle emergency situations
* Deal with urgent mechanical and electrical repairs, kitchen equipment, or other services
* Work alongside the Housing Officer and Housing Administrator
* Ensure work is carried out efficiently and within timescales
* Undertake general maintenance tasks across properties and offices
What Our Client is Looking For
To join our client as a Maintenance and Repairs Officer, you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar role or a qualification in one aspect of maintenance, such as plumbing or gardening
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365
