GPW Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Production Operative role in Bentham, Lancaster, on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the protection equipment industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with production experience who is looking to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating and maintaining production machinery for protection equipment.
*
Assembling and pressure testing suppression components.
*
Managing inventory, picking orders, and preparing products for shipment.
*
Packing products and related equipment for delivery by road, sea, or air.
*
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE and COSHH protocols.
*
Working flexibly across different departments to support production flow and team needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
*
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
*
Forklift truck experience is an advantage (but not essential).
*
A good understanding of health and safety procedures (COSHH, PPE).
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, including lifting.
*
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £13.82 per hour.

Full-time, temp - perm position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00; Friday, 07:30 – 13:00.
