About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead in ensuring safety and excellence at our fairground? As the Fairground Technical Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Your expertise will help us deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests!
Your Responsibilities
* Coordinate routine technical inspections and maintenance for all fairground rides and equipment.
* Conduct daily ride opening and closing check audits to ensure safety and functionality.
* Oversee administrative duties related to your role, including stock control and equipment purchasing.
* Lead and develop your team, fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence.
About You
We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a solid technical background, ideally with a mechanical focus. Your experience should include:
* Working with inspectors and managing strip downs and rebuilds.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills to support your team effectively.
* The ability to work independently, prioritize a demanding workload, and maintain a keen eye for detail.
As the first point of contact for your team, your thorough and meticulous approach will ensure that everything runs smoothly. Please note that this role will require weekend work during the peak season.
