We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the construction management team by handling various administrative tasks. Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the construction management team, ensuring smooth operations within the office.
* Manage phone communications with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks, ensuring all documentation is organised and easily accessible.
* Assist in managing project schedules and timelines, coordinating meetings and appointments as necessary.
* Handle invoicing and financial documentation using Xero, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
* Support the team with various office tasks as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles within the construction or related industry being advantageous.
* Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with Xero is highly desirable for managing financial records effectively.
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Competence in typing and data entry is necessary for efficient documentation management.
