Job Title: Remote Freelance Work-Based Tutor – Learning and Skills Teacher (Level 5)

Rate: £60 per learner, per workshop

Our client, a forward-thinking and values-driven training provider, is seeking a dedicated Freelance Tutor to deliver the Learning and Skills Teacher Level 5 apprenticeship. This is a unique opportunity to support educators in the post-16 and adult learning sectors through a high-impact, flexible delivery model. You’ll help learners become confident, reflective, and effective practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structured workshops in line with the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher standard
* Provide personalised support and coaching to apprentices, both online and in person
* Guide learners in pedagogical theory, curriculum planning, and reflective practice
* Conduct observations, reviews, and assessments in real work environments
* Maintain accurate learner records and support the timely achievement of EPA
* Liaise with employers to support learner progression and workplace development
* Promote safeguarding, equality, and inclusive teaching practices
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
* Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent)
* Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS)
* Experience in FE or adult learning delivery
* Strong pedagogical knowledge and commitment to reflective practice
* Ability to travel across the West Midlands
