Description
Esland Daven School is seeking a SEN Tutor specializing in Textiles. The successful candidate will deliver tutoring to small groups and on a 1-1 basis within the school, and also in surrounding children's homes via outreach services.
You will support vulnerable young children aged 8-18 years with SEMH and complex needs.
The role
We are looking for a committed and motivated qualified practitioner to contribute to teaching and learning within our homes and schools. The role involves working with pupils to access qualifications such as Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSEs, ASDAN, or Unit Awards, depending on their current level and aspirations.

What we need from you:
* An education qualification such as QTS, Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), Level 3 PTLLS, or PGCE
* Experience working with young people with SEMH
* Experience with vocational subjects, especially in hair and beauty
* Previous experience in one-to-one or small group tutoring
* Passion for inclusion and supporting challenging young people
* Knowledge of results-based accountability in education and care environments
* Ability to plan, evaluate, and monitor learning progress
* Ability to differentiate instruction to promote inclusion and attainment
* Strong relationship-building skills with young people and colleagues
* Highly organized, with effective time management skills
* Resilience, stamina, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills
* A positive attitude towards hard work and challenging situations
* A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
* A good sense of humor
