Trusts and Estates Lawyer - Global Accounting Firm
Location: London (2–3 days per week onsite)

Our client, a leading global accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates specialist lawyer to join at Director level. This is a pivotal senior appointment within a growing area of the business, offering the opportunity to shape, develop and expand the firm’s trusts and estates capability.
The Role
As a senior member of the Private Wealth leadership team, the Director will work closely with partners and colleagues across the practice to deliver high‑level advice to UHNWIs, their families, trusts and estates. The remit includes complex advisory work, technical oversight, and the development of a broad offering to support clients with sophisticated cross‑border wealth structures.
You will play a central role in growing and deepening the firm’s trusts and estates service line, bringing a commercial mindset and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to take ownership of a developing practice area within a globally recognised brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on UK trusts, estates, succession planning and related wealth structuring.
* Lead advisory work for UHNW families, trustees and family offices.
* Work closely with the private wealth and broader tax teams to deliver integrated, cross‑disciplinary solutions.
* Develop and expand the trusts and estates offering, identifying growth opportunities and driving commercial outcomes.
* Mentor junior colleagues and support the firm’s wider leadership agenda.
* Collaborate across international offices where client structures require cross‑border coordination.
About You
* A qualified lawyer with extensive experience in trusts, estates and private wealth advisory.
* Strong technical capability across UK trust law, succession planning and UHNW estate matters.
* Commercial, strategic and comfortable shaping a growing service line.
* Skilled at developing relationships with UHNW clients, trustees and intermediaries.
* Confident operating at Director level with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
* Collaborative, pragmatic and motivated by building something long‑term.
