Overview
Location: Skelmersdale (Pimbo Road Area). Our client, a well-established company, is hiring multiple Production Operatives to start ASAP on a temporary ongoing contract. Immediate availability is required. Pay: £12.74 per hour. Working hours: Mon-Thu 07:50–16:45, Fri 07:50–12:10.
About the Role
Based in a busy assembly shop environment, you will operate automated machines and robots. Responsibilities include loading machines with products, working to deadlines, and collaborating with a dedicated team. With moderate work direction, you will help ensure product quality and contribute to efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
* Follow production schedules and meet daily targets
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Conduct quality checks and report any issues
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
* Recent experience in a production or manufacturing role (within the last 12 months preferred)
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Strong attention to detail and reliability
