We're hiring talented and motivated Fire Engineers of all levels for a hybrid role based in Manchester or London. Join our growing practice and work on a variety of exciting projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, mixed-use, and public buildings, helping to shape safe and sustainable environments.
Location: Hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and attend site/client meetings. Ideally based in or near London or Manchester.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Delivering bespoke, pragmatic, and timely services to build long-term client relationships.
* Developing your skills, knowledge, and experience to grow your competencies.
* Developing fire strategies for new and existing buildings.
* Conducting design reviews and developing performance-based and code-compliant solutions.
* Carrying out site inspections and preparing reports.
* Liaising with design teams, clients, and authorities.
* Supporting team engineers and contributing to the wider success of the business.
What We’re Looking For:
* A passion for learning and applying codes and standards such as Approved Document B, BS 9991, BS 9999, BS 7974.
* Understanding or desire to learn performance-based fire engineering principles and analysis methods like CFD, evacuation modeling, and fire dynamics.
* Aiming to build long-term relationships and exceed expectations.
* Chartered, working towards Chartered status, or aspiring to be Chartered.
* Collaborative approach with high-quality work and strong communication skills.
* A degree in Fire Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline.
