This vacancy will be based at either Coleman House in Dover, or Folkestone Health Centre, Folkestone, with a requirement to work between the two localities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day running of the administration team, aligned to the Mental Health Together team, Mental Health Together + Team and the MAS for South Kent Coast.

They will lead a team of administrators who manage referrals, book appointments, type letters, respond to telephone calls and greet patients and carers at reception.

In these duties they will be part of the local leadership team and will work alongside service managers and operational team leaders to improve the administration processes, lead and motivate the team.


Main duties of the job

* Support day‑to‑day running of the administration team.
* Take the lead on implementing changes to admin processes to contribute toward achieving trust objectives and improving service quality.
* Provide supervision and appraisals for the team and manage any absence, performance or conduct issues in accordance with trust values and policies.
* Analyse and interpret performance reports, collate data as needed, and be responsible for the agenda and minutes for team meetings.
* Work with a team of administrators to develop and implement a sound admin system to support clinical services in the Mental Health Teams.
