Deputy Manager (Clinical) at Bupa – St George’s Care Home, 5 Byfleet Rd, Cobham KT11 1DS. Salary Up To £53,662 depending on experience. Permanent role, 40 hours per week. Welcome bonus £2,000. On-site role.

Responsibilities
* Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
* With the team, creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
* Ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
* Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team – promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
* Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, and fostering a sense of community within the home.
* Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners; liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Qualifications
* Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
* Understanding the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives; promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
* Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
* Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
