Major Incident Manager Short-Term Contract Location: Salford, Greater Manchester (Onsite preferred, hybrid negotiable) Contract Length: 3 months Start Date: Immediate We are currently seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to join our team on a short-term contract basis to support critical IT service continuity during a high-impact period. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of major incidents from identification to resolution Coordinate rapid response teams and lead recovery efforts Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders at all levels Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews Work closely with Problem and Change Management teams to prevent recurrence Required Experience: Proven experience managing high-severity IT incidents in complex environments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred) Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Experience in large enterprise environments is highly desirable
