Service Manager – Children’s Residential Services

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Service Manager to oversee a cluster of children’s residential homes across Staffordshire. This is a pivotal leadership position within a growing organisation committed to delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
In this role, you will lead and support Registered Managers, champion continuous improvement, and ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. Regular travel between services and the central office is required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Requirements
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within the last 7 years)
At least 3 years’ supervisory or leadership experience
Experience supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, or neurodiverse needs
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management, or willingness to work towards it
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across multiple residential homes
Lead, mentor, and develop Home Managers and senior teams
Complete audits and drive quality improvement initiatives
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead
Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold Ofsted standards
