Job Purpose To ensure continuity/consistency in delivery of service by supervising staff as delegated by the Team Manager To retain experienced SW/OT staff in front line positions To work with complex cases within departmental policies and procedures To assist Team Ma nager by contributing to the planning and development of the service within commissioning plans and to assist the management of the workflow Role Responsibilities To support the team in managing their caseloads, which will involve some co- working of compl ex cases Quality control of written reports/assessments/ minutes including court reports, produced within the team Assist in the writing of reports for less experience staff and support at meetings and within the court arena Chair and attend meetings in l ine with Statutory duties Plan and conduct group supervision sessions within the team Representing Team Manager in strategy meetings Acting as first point of reference for case work issues where consultation is needed Recommending to Team Manager any finan cial payments required for families and or young person Requirements as a Social Worker include: SWE Registration Eligible to work in the UK Drive and have access to a car Post-qualified experience Degree level or equivalent in Social Work Benefits of working for Connect2SocialWork: Free DBS and compliance service Access to a wide range of roles nationwide, as well as exclusive roles to C2SW Your own dedicated consultant with extensive knowledge Work for an agency owned by Kent County Council Prompt and reliable payroll system "Refer a Friend" bonus - get £300 for each social worker you refer who we successfully place Interested?
