Project Manager
Infra Clean Water
Location: Rotherham Yard, Braithwell & Normanton, West Yorkshire
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the team at Galliford Try.
Ideally, you will be based in Yorkshire and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites in the region.
What you will be doing:
* Managing project delivery outputs including programme, financials, health and safety, environmental performance, and progress for all allocated schemes.
* Managing staff at various levels, providing leadership, staff development, and retention.
* Interacting professionally with senior client representatives.
* Having a good understanding of NEC 4 contract conditions and commercial awareness.
* Managing multiple concurrent projects to ensure successful delivery against KPIs.
* Ensuring all projects comply with current health & safety regulations, CDM, and environmental legislation.
* Reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and environmental compliance documents.
* Ensuring compliance with company safety, environmental, and quality systems.
* Liaising with clients to meet or exceed KPIs within budget.
* Managing project teams, setting objectives, and motivating team members.
* Assisting with the development of direct labor resources.
* Taking responsibility for the financial performance of each project.
* Participating in financial reviews and ensuring accurate reporting.
* Completing contract documentation and establishing final accounts.
* Preparing estimates, quotations, and tender reviews.
* Developing detailed project programs with the project planner.
* Identifying design requirements and solutions.
* Liaising with tendering, design, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams.
* Procurement of plant, materials, and subcontractors.
* Attending factory, site, and client meetings and visits.
* Ensuring all documentation, such as 'as-built' drawings and manuals, are prepared in line with client specifications.
About You:
* Industry-relevant ONC/HNC/B.Eng. or NVQ qualification.
* Health & safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, SMSTS).
* CSCS card.
* Experience in waste and/or water industries.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Team player with ability to work independently.
* Strong time management and prioritization skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proactive attitude and team support.
