An independent school in Taunton is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their high-achieving science faculty. This is a full-time permanent role beginning in September 2025, teaching general science across KS3 and a subject specialism at GCSE and A-Level depending on your strengths.
The school offers modern facilities including subject-specific laboratories, research spaces, and science garden. Pupils regularly achieve excellent science results and many progress to STEM courses at university.
The successful candidate will be confident in delivering hands-on, investigative lessons and promoting an active love of learning. Support is available for ECTs or those transitioning from the state sector.
Experience and Qualifications
• Science degree and QTS (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism preferred)
• Ability to teach KS3–KS5 Science confidently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
