Cyber Incident Lead Location: Heathrow Airport (LHR), Hounslow, UK Type: Full-time Overview Our client is seeking a Cyber Incident Lead to join its cybersecurity function. The role is critical in ensuring the organisation is well-positioned to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents. The successful candidate will operate as part of a 24/7 incident response function and engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the management and resolution of cyber incidents across the organisation Develop, maintain, and manage incident response processes and documentation Translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders at all levels Build and maintain strong relationships across business units Conduct thorough risk assessments, even with limited or ambiguous information Contribute to the development of digital forensics capabilities Collaborate with cyber teams to inform tuning of security tools and controls Coordinate with associated entities to manage cross-organisation incidents and share threat intelligence Oversee supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in incident response services Candidate Profile Methodical and analytical thinker with strong attention to detail Strong communicator, capable of making technical topics accessible to varied audiences Calm under pressure, able to prioritise effectively in high-stress situations Familiar with industry-standard incident response methodologies Required Experience Proven cyber incident response experience in a complex organisation Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework Desirable: experience in digital forensics, aviation/transport/critical infrastructure sectors Desirable: relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GIAC Incident Handler)
