Electrical Maintenance TechnicianLocation: WinsfordSalary: £43,000Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pmAn established manufacturing site in Winsford is currently seeking a Electricalmaintenance engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to move away from shift work and into a stable Monday to Friday days role while working on a varied range of plant equipment.The RoleReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation. The role focuses primarily on electrical maintenance while also supporting mechanical work where skills allow.The successful candidate will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability and supporting production to meet business and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on plant equipment and site facilitiesSupport maintenance activities across instrumentation and electrical systems where competency allowsIdentify equipment issues and improvement opportunities and communicate these to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance PlannerFollow and maintain safe working practices and company proceduresEnsure all work is completed in line with environmental, health and safety standardsMaintain a clean and organised workshop and ensure work areas are left in a safe condition after maintenance activitiesParticipate in occasional out-of-hours work or call-outs when required by the businessSkills and ExperienceQualified Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias preferred)Previous experience working within heavy engineering, manufacturing, or processing environmentsStrong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience working with plant and rotating equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionGood communication skills both written and verbalWillingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and technologiesTPBN1_UKTJ
