Due to occupancy growth and maternity leave Kidzco Early Learning Centre Palmwoods is a unique service that is looking for dedicated and inspiring Lead Educators to join their growing team. Our double service works together to provide high-quality care and education to children within their communities. With a hands on supportive management team and growing cohort of children and families, our teaching team has room for expansion.

Who Are You:

Have a passion for working with children, as well as:

Create engaging learning environments for children to explore

Creating and implementing thoughtful educational programs that empowers children as independent learners

Nurture curiosity, resilience, and self-awareness in every child

Building and maintaining relationships with our amazing children, families, and educators.

Collaborate with educators to develop learning programs based on your knowledge of each child, their ideas and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Positive, caring attitude with a focus on teamwork

Professional presentation

Inspiring and mentoring the teaching team, building educators capacity and confidence within their roles.

Supporting children's behaviour and guiding children's social development

Participate in team pit stop meetings, adding your valuable insight

You understand how young children learn through play and everyday routines and rituals. Your curriculum is responsive to young children's thinking, play schemas and development. You join with families and community to nurture young children in their formative years. You position yourself as a learner, demonstrating responsibility for continuous practice improvement and reflective practice.

Key skills and requirements:

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

An approved Working with Children Check (State Specific)

Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates

Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines

Knowledge and understanding of industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.

A passion for the education and care of children in a play-based learning environment.Along with confidence and curiosity to build relationships with families and the local community.

Availability to work Monday to Friday across various shift patterns
