Business Developer / Sales Development Representative
We are collaborating with a leading savings and investment specialist to recruit a skilled and experienced Sales Advisor with financial services knowledge to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include promoting the growth of the Society through a membership-led contact strategy, utilizing multiple marketing channels and stakeholders. You will also provide pensions information and solutions for members approaching retirement.
Key Duties:
1. Grow the membership base by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and working effectively with decision-makers at all levels.
2. Generate leads for presentations and events to enhance regional presence and promote the client's products.
3. Provide practical guidance on technical and legislative aspects of Police and Police Staff pensions through in-person and virtual meetings.
4. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute promotional activities to generate new business leads.
5. Research and identify new business opportunities.
6. Manage your diary and travel commitments efficiently, and oversee the wider Field Team calendar.
7. Maintain the CRM system and ensure call trackers are updated with inbound and outbound calls.
8. Build strong relationships with organizations such as the Police Federation, Superintendents' Association, NPCC, NARPO, XPS Administration, Equiniti, Trades Unions, and other Staff Associations within UK Police forces to promote the client's services.
9. Support additional tasks within your area of expertise as needed.
Essential and Desirable Criteria:
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Passionate and enthusiastic
* Degree or equivalent education
* Financial services qualification
* Knowledge of police pensions
* Proven track record in a regulated financial services environment
* Experience in training and presenting
* Ex-police officers with financial services knowledge are encouraged to apply
