MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with this large non-departmental public body in their search for a Communications Officer.
The role:
Lead the planning and delivery of digital content across websites, social media, and email marketing channels.
Create compelling multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written copy, tailored to target audiences.
Manage and update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency.
Design high-quality digital assets using Canva and Adobe Design.
Oversee video production and editing for campaigns, events, and promotional use across platforms.
Monitor digital performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and inform strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop and execute effective communication plans.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential
Relevant degree, equivalent qualification(s) or evidence of equivalent experience.
Experience managing a portfolio of communications projects.
Experience in a digital communications role.
Experience working within a communications function working to tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
Experience of employment in the public sector or agency.
Experience using canva/wordpress
Experience in Adobe Design
