Streamline Recruitment is searching for HGV1 (C+E) drivers on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.
General details & requirements:
1. This will be night trunking work, usually starting between 16:00-22:00.
2. Shifts will generally be Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend shifts available.
3. There will sometimes be day work available as well, so please get in touch if this is something you're interested in.
4. In addition to driving conventional artic vehicles, candidates must also be willing to drive wagon & drag vehicles if required - full training will be provided by the customer.
5. You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
6. You will be required to pass an assessment.
7. We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.
Candidates must have the following documents:
1. UK C+E licence - ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
2. UK Digital tachograph card
3. UK CPC card
Payment information:
1. Please note this position is PAYE only:
2. Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £20.17
3. Overtime after 8 hours - £23.88
4. 6th Day - £28.65
5. Night Shift allowance - extra £11.04 per shift
6. Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
7. A 45 minute break will be deducted after the minimum hours worked
8. Weekly payments every Friday
