Salary: £62,160 per annum (maximum remuneration will be dependent on experience and relevant qualifications)
For April 2026, Worth School is seeking to appoint a full‑time Head of Economics & Business Studies. The role involves leading, developing and managing the effective delivery of an outstanding curriculum, enabling the highest level of pupil progress and attainment. You will lead the professional community of teachers, promote outstanding teaching and learning, and foster a strong school culture within a nurturing and rigorous environment.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
* Demonstrate a passion for economics and business studies and a commitment to developing active learning strategies that challenge and inspire students from Year 10 through to Sixth Form, including GCSE, A Level and the International Baccalaureate (IB).
* Lead the professional community of teachers and promote a culture of high‐quality teaching and learning.
* Maintain a working knowledge of ICT and be willing to contribute to other school activities in a thriving boarding environment.
* Skillful classroom practitioner with the ability to develop and deliver engaging, challenging curriculum across all key stages.
